What is the worst thing that Governor Mark Sanford did?

Of course, cheating on your wife is bad, especially when you skip Father’s Day with your family to go see your mistress. Although we’ve been hearing about this regularly for the last couple of weeks, the “news” media did not mention the action that Republican Governor Mark Sanford took to deprive every voter in South Carolina of one of their rights to control their government.

Naturally, those of us who are aware of the mainstream “news” media cartel’s censorship of certain information will probably not be surprised that they failed to mention this, it even disappeared from comments left on MSM “news” web sites. However, you may be surprised that this has not been covered by some of the blogs that focus on elections. If you follow some of those you may be in for a surprise although it was reported by others, so if you follow this issue, you may have wondered why you saw it on some blogs, but not others. I’ll leave that for my expose’ of the controlled opposition.

So, what did Governor Mark Sanford do to deprive South Carolina’s voters of their rights to control their government? He presided over the implementation of secret vote counting in South Carolina.

You will not hear about this from the MSM “news” outlets because mentioning that votes are counted in secret is taboo, so much so that these “news” outlets barely mentioned that the votes were not counted publicly in the recent “election” in Iran. You won’t hear about this from the controlled election “reform” blogs either because although they have to acknowledge that computers count votes in secret, they want to pretend that secret vote counting does not violate any Constitutional provision or right.

If you want to know why secret vote counting is specifically prohibited in South Carolina and the laughable lengths that the MSM “news” and even PBS went to in order to ignore this issue, see South Carolina Elections Are UNCONSTITUTIONAL!?! at http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_mark_a___080114_south_carolina_elect.htm

By the way, it’s only 4 pages of text with 6 pages of links if you want more supporting information. If you read the comments, you’ll get to see some shills at work and you’ll get to see me spank them. I hope that you enjoy learning about this hidden scandal, and for the shills out there, let’s dance.

Also, stay tuned for my follow up articles on this. I’ll let you know whether anyone took action and about a line of U.S. Supreme Court cases which hold that secret vote counting is unconstitutional.

Please note that www.votecount2008.org mentioned in the article linked above was changed to http://www.projectvotecount.com/.

This is my opinion on voting:

November 7, is National Pick Your Oppressor Day. Now they have to do it in secret! Don’t cling to
election fantasies. The whole election circus is owned and operated by wealthy,
powerful and sinister interests. Lots of people sense this. Elections are not
the time when people influence the politics of the system. It is the opposite:
it is a time when the masses of people get indoctrinated in the policies this
    system intends to adopt.

The electoral system is a horrible trap. Its parties and campaigns–are a
terrible place to try to organize and struggle for change. Real change comes
from mass action. The civil rights movement was not won by voting. When people
get fooled and drawn into the electoral system their struggle gets tamed. It is
an arena where people get trained to accept the limits and framework of the
system. They are schooled in the political methods most useful and (and least
    challenging) to their oppressors.

Lots of people listen to Al Gore rant about “I will fight for you,” and mutter
“Yeah, right.” They laugh at Bush’s talk of “compassionate conservatism” and
see it as obvious bullshit. But is Nader’s vision of a compassionate, reformed
capitalism any more realistic? The whole strategy of the Nader campaign is
based on an elaborate electoral fantasy.

Some elections ago why was Ross Perot allowed into the process when this time Nader is
not allowed? Perot was allowed to “inject new ideas” because the ruling class
needed someone to argue for major social cuts, in a campaign where neither
major candidate dared to be the first to bring it up. But with Nader in 2000
his ideas about universal health care or pro-unionization laws or opposition to
NAFTA are not even allowed to be voiced in debates or the media. Nader’s big
effect for the system is to sucker voters to think their votes count.

Such a public statement of faith in the system legitimizes the future
government and power structures of this system.

There is a saying among political movement people: “Climbing into a voting
booth doesn’t make you powerful–any more than climbing into the back of a
squad car makes you a cop.”

Others can cling to electoral fantasies. Not me!

And Yes, of course, this is an indictment of the entire system.

As Stalin said, “Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything!” Wake up folks. Our votes are counted in secret now.

Are you going to stand by while one of your rights to control the government is taken? If so, how do you expect to prevent the U.S. government from treating you and your family like Stalin treated his subjects? By the way, Stalin murdered more of his subjects than Hitler did.

All forms of government, no matter what you call them, result in rule by an aristocracy as government agents are given various powers over the general public. Some have very limited power and some have vast power. Therefore, the question is how can you keep the aristocrats from abusing their power.

How could citizens in the USSR keep Stalin or local party leaders from abusing them? They couldn’t. In fact, if you pissed off the powers in the USSR, you were off to jail or worse after a kangaroo trial without a jury.

Even though our Constitution initially allowed slavery and denied rights to those who were not white males, it was intended to limit the power of government and it provided the means to control government and prevent the abuse of power. Those means were supposed to be expanded to all after the Civil War. However, due to prejudice and the lust for power, those means have been usurped over a period of time and whitewashed from public knowledge through control of the educational system and the media.

To find out how citizens were supposed to be able to prevent criminal abuse by our rulers and the damage that has resulted from the theft of that right, see Why does the U.S. government torture people?
