Fraud and Death Trump Citizen Health

Citizens Poised to Sacrifice for their Leaders

The priorities of the nation’s leaders are coming into stark relief in the health care reform debate.  President Obama has been clear that he will not tolerate any health care legislation that isn’t “deficit neutral.”  It can’t cost a penny over budget.  We owe him a great debt for clarifying how the so-called leaders in Washington actually view citizens.

As of July 2009, the federal government had $23 trillion committed to the Wall Street bailouts.  That’s almost twice the 2008 gross domestic product of the United States, a  deficit buster.  Has the president vetoed that, shut it down?

Congress just approved $128 billion for the 2010 Iraq – Afghanistan efforts.  Since 2010 is already over budget, that’s a deficit buster also.  Hear any talk of a veto?

But if you’ve got cancer, diabetes, Lyme disease or any other medical condition and you can’t afford to pay for it, tough luck; neither can the Obama administrations or the 111th Congress.  Helping you might mean giving up Wall Street welfare and endless wars.  Even worse, it might cause a deficit.

We can view our suffering as a sacrifice for the greater good of a balanced budget, kleptocracy by the elite and endless war.
