Where is the outrage?

I am reeling again.  There will be no COLA for Social Security because there has been no inflation.  They say the recession is ending.  The six English muffins I bought last night cost $4.00.  Dog food has gone up 50%.  Cat food has gone up 60%.  My healthcare has gone from a $300 deductible to a $1,500 deductible.  Gasoline is on its way back up.  Who are they trying to kid?

Bernanke says we are spending too much.  We need to save more and import less.  Huh?  Husbands and wives are working and some are working two jobs just to try to keep up with expenses.  The only raises anyone has gotten have gone straight to the healthcare industry, while prices keep going up and up.  Banks are committing usury when anyone dares step over their limit.  All the tax cuts have gone to the rich.  WTF, How is anyone supposed to save here?  We were an economy where we used to make things.  General Motors was the nations largest non-governmental employer.  People had healthcare and a livable income.  Greed and stupidity reduced GM to rubble and our economy along with it.

Today the nation’s largest non-governmental employer is Walmart. That has to tell you something.  What it says to me is that we are not making anything anymore—neither products nor wages.  Meanwhile, upper management’s wages have gone from 30X the average employee’s wages to 300+X the average employee’s wages.  Costs and healthcare have skyrocketed while the average worker’s wages have remained flat.  No COLA because there has been no inflation?  WHERE IS THE FRACKING OUTRAGE?  We GAVE the banks billions of $$$ that we worked our collective asses off to earn and those banks are giving away bonuses like $700,000 to EVERY employee?  WHERE IS THE FRACKING OUTRAGE?  It’s our fault?  We should be saving more?  Insert primal scream here __________________!
