He stated, "For the most part - overwhelmingly - the public schools of California are not only safe but are providing a high quality education."Having scored many California standardized exams I can assure all that California is most definitely NOT providing a high quality education. A good number of sophomores, juniors and seniors are unable to read a prompt and provide even one coherent sentence, let alone an essay that responds to the prompt. In fact, it was for this very reason that I decided that when my child is school age we will most definitely homeschool. I had not ever considered homeschooling until I saw the sorry results the California schools are graduating. Any parent of reasonable intellect could far surpas CA schools.
